Nice. Especially the second. I live in NYC, too, and haven't been in Greenwich Village in years. That tanka made me miss it.
I really love the second one!
I like the first one and the image of you wearing the haiku hat, looking at the world as you pass, and finding just the right words to convey a brief, concise thought. Both images were crystal clear.
